Cathedral School Ideation Lab
Student projects
We are grateful to have had the opportuntiy to help set up the ideation lab for tech education at the Cathedral & John Connon Middle School in Mumbai.
The school’s forward thinking approach has allowed us to curate and implement our 3D Design and AI curriculum, inspiring creativity and critical thinking, for students in grade 5-7.
Bombay International School, Tech Club
Bombay International School’s Tech Club (2024) took the initiative to ensure their peers are AI literate.
Upon completing the first module of our AI education pathway the students showcased these fun projects, related to their personal interets, at their school’s tech day.
AI Stories Project
The ‘AI Stories’ audio series has been created to introduce young children to the world of AI. It is conceptualised, written and narrated by the students of ‘Coding and More’. What a fun way to learn and help others too!
Fun fact: The illustrations in the videos have been created by our educators using generative AI (Dall-E 2).
India AI Collaboration
We created a story-based ‘AI Booklet’ in collaboration with IndiaAI to make AI literacy accessible to young children from all backgrounds. The booklet has also been translated into several local indian languages.
Workshop with Aalto and Oulu University, Finland
We co-conducted an interactive, though provoking and engaging workshop with the CRAI-CIS (CRitical AI and Crisis Interrogatives) research group in the Department of Computer Science at Aalto University and Oulu University, Finland.
The workshop was aimed at experimenting with our pedagogical techniques to help scale algorithmic literacy and awareness about ethics in technology among school children. We believe it is so important for young children to be able to question and think critically about the technology they interact with.
